Time Out
Captured one of my little ones still snoozing after a car ride home. He was successfully transfered from car to couch, and is sunken down into his coat. Done with #FaberCastell PITT pen in size B in black in my moleskin sketchbook. Continue reading

Binder Clip
Today I took about 20-30 minutes of completely interrupted time to draw this binder clip. I think that I was stopped every 2 minutes. I’m quite fond of the results actually! This was done in my moleskin sketchbook with a 02 Micron black pen. I used Sue Bleiweiss’ The Sketchbook Challenge to prompt this drawing. Continue reading

Random Sketches of Happiness
This sketch is a little old, but was done from the first camping trip back in July. On our picnic table was the usual camping items… lantern, citronella candle, a book, other random doo-dads that you need, but didn’t need just then. I had the brief opportunity to draw, and for once, liked where it Continue reading

Half way through this drawing I swore I was drawing the Grinch, but it turned around a little. I drew this from Continue reading

Zen-inspired Initials
This was originally for a challenge, and then life got in the way and I forgot about it. Alas, I have finished it. See if you can see the initials “CP”. This was done on a goldenrod colored cardstock that someone sent me for a swap, using Micron black ink pens, and Recollections Signature gel Continue reading

Owl themed Artist Tile
Did this one for a swap on Swap-bot.com. The theme was owls. I chose to keep the artwork mostly black and white with a few Zentangle patterns. I used Micron black ink pens and Faber-Castell watercolor Pitt pens. Continue reading

Irish Inspired tangle

This is supposed to be inspired by St. Patrick’s day for the I am the Diva challenge #159 (http://www.iamthedivaczt.blogspot.com/). At the center is a four leaf clover surrounded by a variety of patterns and two hues of green. Continue reading

Red Johnny
This is an original artwork inspired by the Zentangle Method that can be found on the site below. This particular drawing was done as part of I Am the Diva’s #153rd challenge to use the tangle “Jailed Johnny”. I used watercolor pencils and a paintbrush to add the background, then used both Micron and Sharpie Continue reading
