This is one of those commissions that doesn’t photograph well! I swear it looks better in person!
Commissioned work complete 🙂

Fiddling around a bit on some scrap paper, making some bookmarks, letting myself explore.
The beginning of something new… #100daysofart #fillmyworldwithcolor #arteveryday
Here is an ink drawing of a cat that is up for adoption with the ASPCA. A local nonprofit asked selected artists to create a portrait of an animal available for adoption. Whomever adopts this gray and white feline will also get a portrait of the same animal. Here I drew the cat in ink, using Micron black pen. I used Prismacolor colored pencils to add color to the eyes. I may add a bit more ink for detail, but overall this piece is done and it needs to get to the gallery to be in display with the other works. Enjoy!
This is a recent piece that I created using pipe cleaners for a juried show entitled “Define: Color” It was not granted into the show unfortunately, but the gallery curator loved it! (they had a guest juror).
Earlier I posted the drawing for this painting, and now, here is the painting! This was done as a custom order and a trade with a friend. She wanted the colors of the sky, fence, and grass to be those of a painting from a Paint and Sip type of class project that she couldn’t attend. She added the corn and the cow. This is 11×14 in acrylics.
